Description:
* We are looking for an experienced, driven and proactive professional to join our Sales & Marketing team as an Associate Director of Groups & Events.
* You will be responsible for planning and delivering a sound sales strategy for the hotels group and events segment.
* You will be supervising the group sales and events planning teams, and reporting into the Director of Sales & Marketing
Requirements
Qualifications:
* Ideally with a university degree in Hospitality/Tourism management.
* Minimum three years of progressive work experience in similar roles within luxury international properties.
* Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, as well as customer service orientation, excellent problem solving and administrative skills and high computer competency.
* Fluency in spoken and written English essential, additional international language will be an asset.
* Ability to represent the Park Hyatt brand.

About the Company
Hyatt was founded by Jay Pritzker in 1957 when he purchased the Hyatt House motel adjacent to the Los Angeles International Airport. Over the following decade, Jay Pritzker and his brother, Donald Pritzker, working together with other Pritzker family business interests, grew the company into a North American management and hotel ownership company, which became a public company in 1962. In 1968, Hyatt International was formed and subsequently became a separate public company. Hyatt Corporation and Hyatt International Corporation were taken private by the Pritzker family business interests in 1979 and 1982, respectively.
