Our newest opportunity is for an Associate Principle to join our allied practice InSite, based in Dubai. This position is responsible for managing a design studio and the successful delivery of Urban Design/Planning rojects to high quality standards in a timely and cost effective manner and in accordance with Client's expectations.

The Associate Principal will be required to demonstrate an expert understanding of both the Urban Design & Planning and the necessary technical programs required to work at the highest level within the profession in addition to securing new commissions and leading high level client presentations and interface.

Responsibilities

We envisage success in this role to include;

- Demonstrating aesthetic expertise, technical, resource and financial components of urban design.
- Demonstrating an expert understanding of production techniques, procedures, and standards.
- Developing technical scopes of works, resource allocations and financial fees for project opportunities.
- Construction administration experience on urban design projects.
- An expert understanding of industry codes/standards/health and safety requirements, sustainability regulations, local construction methods and their influence on design decisions.
- Managing their teams, put together bids, service clients and manage P/L for their projects.
- Demonstrate strong commitment to quality control for design and technical issues.
- Demonstrate an understanding of key design related computer programs.

Requirements

Qualifications

To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include 15 - 20 years of relevant work experience partnered with a Bachelor / Master degree in Urban Design/Architecture from an accredited University or College program.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to effectively respond to sensitive issues, complex queries or complaints.
- Proven track record of success in maintaining and growing client relationships for business results.
