Job description / Role

Role and Responsibilities:

- Maintains and monitors inventory, which includes: requisition processing, receiving of goods, tracking/expediting of orders and maintains a cost-effective level.
- Assists with the implementation of opportunities to improve efficiencies and reduce cost.
- Meets with vendors to discuss new product purchases and trials and ensures compliance with contracts.
- Performs monthly review of supply against General Ledger, discrepancies and assures adequate inventory.
- Assists in charge entry and charge capture process from implants, special order supplies.
- Coordinates with End User departments in new item evaluation & vendor evaluation forms and maintains records.
- Takes ownership of assignments; other duties as assigned or requested.
- Communicates and listens effectively with internal and external customers; effectively understands instructions and shares knowledge.
- Cooperates and interacts with supervisors, peers, other departments, and all customer groups demonstrating our commitment to "service "
- Perform such other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
- Prepares system requisitions and monitors transactions for end-to-end product life cycle movement.

Requirements

Knowledge and Skills:

- Knowledge of modern office equipment.
- Interpersonal/human relations skills.
- Organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain records and files.
- Knowledge of excel and MS Office.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Prior knowledge of Healthcare Industry and Items.
- Working knowledge of ERP and HIS systems.
