Job description / Role
An international non-bank financial institution is expanding their presence in Dubai with the addition of a structured products team. This is an opportunity to join a new team being launched by an international financial institution, who are providing strong financial backing, infrastructure, and balance sheet to this new division.
This is an opportunity for a structured products salesperson, broker, or trader with a sound knowledge of derivatives structuring and pricing, able to present and pitch to institutional and private clients, to join a greenfield team in Dubai.
The role:
- Building and maintaining commercial network of clients, both institutional and private, in local and international markets
- Maximise commercial revenue by creating win-win situations through selling structured products to clients
- Participate in the establishment of a new team, with the ambition to become a market leading franchise
- Participate in mentoring and development of junior team members
Requirements
The candidate:
- Minimum of 3-5 years experience in sales, broking, trading or structuring of cross asset structured trades and derivatives
- Sound knowledge of derivatives pricing
- Background in quantitative research would be preferable
- Experienced in selling complex investment products and structured trades to clients, both institutional and private
- Commercial network and client relationships which can be utilized in a new role
- Proven track record of revenue generation through the sale of structured investment products and multi asset class derivatives
- Proactive and entrepreneurial mindset
- Fluent English is essential, additional language skills corresponding to geographical markets would be preferable
- The candidate must be willing to be based in Dubai
