Auditor

Job description / Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Auditor to join our team in UAE-Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for examining and analyzing accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards. The Auditor will play a key role in ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations while identifying areas for potential improvement in the organization's financial practices.

Responsibilities:
- Conducting audits of financial and operational processes and controls
- Examining and analyzing accounting records and financial statements to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards
- Assessing internal controls, including risk assessments and reviews of risk areas
- Identifying areas for potential improvement in the organization's financial practices
- Preparing detailed reports on audit findings and making recommendations for corrective actions
- Communicating audit findings and recommendations to management and stakeholders
- Ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and professional standards

Salary:
AED 3,000 to 10,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) certification is preferred
- Proven experience as an Auditor or in a similar role
- Thorough knowledge of auditing procedures, accounting standards, and internal control frameworks
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office suite
