AutoCAD Draftsman / Technical Detailer

Job description / Role

We are seeking a skilled AutoCAD Draftsman/Technical Detailer to join our interior design and build team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of architectural drafting and detailing, with a passion for creating high-quality interior spaces. As an Architectural Detailer, you will play a key role in turning design concepts into precise technical drawings and specifications for construction, ensuring that our projects are executed with accuracy and precision.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the design team to develop detailed architectural and joinery drawings and specifications for interior design projects.
- Produce accurate technical drawings, including plans, elevations, and sections, using CAD software.
- Ensure that all architectural and joinery details and specifications comply with building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Review and revise drawings based on feedback from architects, engineers, and clients.
- Coordinate with project managers and construction teams to ensure the accurate implementation of design details during the construction phase.
- Stay updated on the latest trends, materials, and technologies in architectural detailing to enhance the quality and efficiency of our design processes.

Requirements

- A degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Architectural Detailer or a similar role in the interior design and build industry.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, or other architectural drafting software.
- Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction techniques.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to translate design concepts into accurate technical drawings.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work closely with the design, engineering, and construction teams.
- A passion for innovation and continuous learning in the field of architectural detailing.
