Job description / Role
Functional responsibilities:
- Manage the development and manufacturing activities associated with tooling and equipment production such as equipment commissioning and optimization.
- Deriving solutions that meet the Customers specifications and the organisations quality, cost and schedule requirements
- Leading technical reviews both within the organisation (Project Management, Quality and Production) and within the Supplier’s organisation to ensure adequate and technical parameters and specifications are understood and adhered to.
- Ensure projects are correctly monitored and implemented to the required standard. Establish and implement corrective action plans as necessary. Ensure budgets are met.
- Leading the process of equipment introduction including initial testing, first article inspection and low rate initial production.
- Creation of work instructions and continuous maintenance and calibration processes required for tooling and manufacturing equipment.

- Experienced in automotive press operations and trouble shooting
- Experience of composite manufacturing processes
- Able to work within a multi-cultural environment
- Excellent command of English language (both written and verbal)
