Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Key tasks
- Repair and maintenance of AV Equipment's and other low current system such as SMATV and Access Control and Gate Barrier System.
- Set up audio, video and lighting to meet guest requirements.
- Troubleshoots technical issues, pinpoints faults, and offer remedies during events.
- Works closely with the conference and banqueting team.
- Complies with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation.
- Excellent knowledge of front of house equipment and property management systems.
- Attends appropriate training courses when required.
- Ensures compliance of brand standards.
- Assists other departments whenever necessary and maintain good working relationships.
- Undertakes all duties and responsibilities in accordance with the relevant work rules and standards.
- Responds immediate to all work requests which concern Health and Safety.
- Responds to guest requests promptly in a professional and courteous manner.
- Completes all work orders

Requirements

Skills
- Level of Education A level Areas of study Technical & Maintenance Professional experiences 1 to 2 years
- Languages essential English Optional languages Arabic, Russian (Fluent), French (Fluent)

Essential and optional requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience preferred in a same capacity within a 5* or 4* Hotel
- Be fully conversant with all health and safety procedures.
- Good in guest interaction
