Job description / Role

Able to operate, repair, maintain and provide technical attention to all major and minor Audio/Visual equipment.

What you will be doing:

- Operate, maintain and do necessary adjustment for all Audio / Visual equipment and systems interconnectivity with 3rd party systems.
- Ensures of sufficient stock of spare parts available for the Audio / Visual equipment and thoroughly checks the purchased materials for their quality.
- Carryout daily checks on Audio / Visual service rooms / servers / equipment including functional check.
- Familiarizes himself with total layout of the building and estate regarding safety aspects such as isolation points, etc.
- Performs preventive maintenance work on for the Audio / Visual equipment and maintains service / history reports.
- Attends to repair and maintain Audio / Visual Service System.
- Advises improvements to the present system in order to optimize the operating efficiency and economy of the said system.
- Assists supervisor to prepare spare parts lists for the Audio / Visual equipment
- Attends to repair and maintain general mechanical systems.
- Executes energy saving measures and helps the department to reduce the energy cost
- Participates in the Hotel Energy Conservation Program

Requirements

Your experience and skills include:

- 2 years Trade Certificate in A/V or Electrical engineering.
- 2 years of experience in a similar field, Hotel experience is preferred.
- Practical and theoretical skills in A/V & Electrical Systems
- Languages: Conversant in English and Arabic is an added advantage
