Banking Manager - Treasury

Charterhouse is working in partnership with a private company based in Dubai. Our client is looking to hire a Banking Manager - Treasury role. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the company's banking relationships, answering bank inquiries, account openings/ closures and ensuring the firm is compliant with the most recent financial regulations. This position also involves both cash management and treasury operations.

The Banking Manager’s main responsibilities will be to develop and maintain relationships with banks and financial institutions to improve banking services and secure profitable terms, opening/closing bank accounts and communicating with all banks. Additionally, the role will include answering bank inquiries, for KYC or any other requests, observing bank fees and identifying opportunities for cost savings, and implementing new banking processes.

In addition to the above, the role will be overseeing the daily cash operations and executing the treasury transactions and will need to ensure staying up to date with the regulatory developments impacting both cash management and treasury activities.

To be considered for this role, the successful candidate will have a Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting or similar, as well as 5 years’ experience in a similar Banking Manager/Treasury Operations role from a Bank/ Financial Services firm. The ideal candidate must also have experience in KYC documentation in either a bank and private company/ exchange/ international transfers. Strong knowledge of banking products and services, financial markets, and treasury operations and have previous experience managing banking relationships is essential for this role.
