Job description / Role

Davidson Consulting is currently leading a Data Transformation Plan for a Government Entity in Dubai.

• You will be working with Senior Data Scientists, Designers and Data Engineers in order to create and modernize a BI Platform:
• Development of new business intelligence across all business functions through BI tools like MicroStrategy, Tableau
• Proposed resources are equipped with previous experience in Data integration using informatica & integration services and Talend.
• Development of business intelligence in line with full BI life cycle
• Work closely with business stakeholders in delivering business reporting requirements
• Ad hoc analysis/reporting as required by Directors and Business functions
• Support the delivery and streamlining of BAU and automated schedules within the team
• Support significant data and BI tool migration projects
• Support and promote Data Warehouse roadmap delivery
• Work closely with Data Architects to develop the best BI solutions possible

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience working with data in analysis and management context
• Strong business skills, including stakeholder management, preparing and delivering presentations and workshops, and collecting (and challenging) requirements
• Competency with relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, etc.) including experience with product specific SQL, such as PL/SQL or T-SQL
• Competency with an ETL technology, such as Informatica, Data Stage, Talend, ODI, SSIS, etc.
• Familiarity with data modelling and integration methodologies or techniques including Star Schema, 3NF, Inmon/Kimball, Data Vault, etc.
• Expertise in solutions architecture for data management solutions, such as MDM, data quality, or data security is desirable
• The ability to capture business requirements and lead workshops
• An awareness of test and QA procedures
