Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Fully immersed in the bids and tender process you will have an exceptional eye for detail and be able to work quickly and efficiently under pressure, across several competing work streams. It is the responsibility of the Bid Manager to ensure all RFP and PQQ are tracked and content, technical information, project team capability statements and financial information is accurate, relevant, and delivered within the branding guidelines, showing consistency at all times.

Kicking off bid meetings to determine the scope and timelines, you will lead the coordination of the bid and provide thought leadership and your experience to influence the bid strategy and the approach to each client. Working alongside the tendering team to produce a wining response you will report into the Corporate Services Senior Manager. This position will cover a global region however, a large focus of the bids and tenders will be for projects based in Iraq, Afghanistan, Ukraine, Libya, Somalia, and Europe. Constantly reviewing the process to encourage continuous development to improve the success of the bids, you will have a high level of business acumen and market intelligence to support this process. Input into post win activities such as contract review and an operational handover will also be part of the Bid Manager’s responsibilities.

The role will be based in the Dubai office and you will be an integral part of the bidding process, providing guidance and your proven experience to secure successful winning bids. Please note this role is not a business development position where you are expected to source projects for the organisation to bid for, but rather a role based on the bid at initial stage through to completion with a high level of efficiency, quality, and consistency.

Requirements

To secure this position you should have approximately 3-4 years’ experience in a similar Bid Manager role, with a preference for those within the security industry. It is expected that you will have advanced MS office capabilities (including excel and PowerPoint) and document control management. Degree educated with exceptional English language communication and written skills, you are required to confidently and knowledgably engage with stakeholders across all levels of seniority.
