Employment: Full Time

Charterhouse is working with a high profile technology company that is looking to hire a Bilingual Lawyer with c.6 years’ experience. This will be a key role in relation to corporate, M&A, digital, TMT and IP work relating to the company’s business activities, investments, acquisitions, strategic partnerships, JV’s etc.

The role will involve working closely with the Senior Lawyers and Internal Stakeholders in the M&A team / group level, in relation to international expansion, with an emphasis on the Middle East, Asia and Africa regions. The position will have a focus on legal aspects of corporate M&A, activity in the digital, telecoms and technology sectors as well as drafting documentation, managing due diligence processes and anticipating / mitigating risk.

Requirements

The successful candidate should be a qualified Lawyer, with c. 6 years + experience working as a Legal Counsel within a large company or law firm. You should be fluent in Arabic and English, both written and verbal. Experience of working with the telecommunications and / or digital sector and knowledge corporate M&A legal work within that market is essential. There is an interest in candidates already based in Abu Dhabi or Dubai.

The role offers attractive remuneration, excellent bonus scheme, education allowance, family medical and flights, so a highly attractive package to bring in a high calibre individual. The role will be based predominantly in Abu Dhabi but will include regular travel to Dubai.
