Responsibilities:
- Manage the production of BIM models and 2D and 3D drawings for a wide range of infrastructure projects involving treatment of water and wastewater (sewage, industrial effluent and produced water), seawater intakes and pumping stations, roads, pavements, utilities, drainage, buildings, and structures.
- Prepare and manage project drawing registers.
- Prepare 2D and 3D drawings and BIM models for a wide range of infrastructure projects.
- Responsible for ensuring technical quality, coordination, integrity, and cost effectiveness of drawings produced.
- Representing Worley in liaising with Clients, Engineers, and other design team members.
- Follow guidelines, standards, and procedures to effectively execute assigned work.
- Ensure that the level of design work is appropriate for the complexity of the construction tasks.
- Interface with other members of the design and management team on multiple discipline projects including with the Global Delivery Centres when required.
- Manage work process to adhere to assigned budgets and schedules.
- Develop and maintaining excellent team relationships through successful project execution.
- Prepare technical and commercial proposals.
- Technical supervision of project designated designers in the execution of their duties.
- Mentor junior members of staff and assist to promote career development within the group.
- Assist in developing, improving and maintaining Worley design and drafting systems, processes, practices and procedures within the office.
- Check compliance with QA/Safety/Environment goals.
- Quality Assurance - Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the Worley Quality Management System.
- Safety - Responsible for personal safety and implementing safe working practices.
- HSE - Understand and follow OH&S procedures

Job Specific Knowledge:
- Competent in the use of industry software Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, Smartplant P&IDs, PDMS, PDS and MicroStation.
- Experienced in the modelling and detailing of roads, utilities, drainage, buildings, and structures, such as:
- Experienced in the modelling and detailing the process and network elements associated with water and wastewater treatment systems and pumping stations. Experienced in clash detection/ management of utilities design.
- Experienced in preparation of Process Flow Diagrams, Piping & Instrumentation drawings, Hydraulic Flow Diagrams, Overall Layout drawings, Piping Gas and Layouts, Utilities layouts and sections and piping 3D models, etc.
- Knowledge of piping layout guidelines, symbols development for SmartPlant P&IDs
- Preparation of Material Take Offs from drawings.
- Experienced in a consulting engineering environment over the whole lifecycle of a project including concept, FEED and Detailed Design

Requirements

Job Specific Experience:
- Minimum relevant experience in a range of industrial infrastructure projects.

Preference will be given to candidates with:
- Experience working in the Middle East.
- Experience in industrial infrastructure projects.
- Experience in water infrastructure projects.
- Experience in port and harbour projects.

Education
- A relevant Diploma in Engineering.
- A relevant Bachelor's Degree in Engineering would be preferable.
