BIM Manager

Job description / Role

TXM is currently seeking a BIM Manager to join an stablished, international consulting firm who are based in Dubai. The candidate is expected to work across several projects with the primary focus of providing support to cross-discipline design teams to deliver using BIM methodologies.

The candidate will assist the Department Manager in developing and overseeing the implementation of BIM plans on a project basis as well as provide training to team members and work with the team to maintain the company BIM standard, templates, and libraries.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Attending project meetings
• Writing and maintaining project BIM execution plans, with review and approval by the Department Manager
• Monitoring project teams use of BIM on projects & reporting progress to the Department Manager
• Providing training to project teams, as required, in software used on the project
• Assisting discipline BIM leads in developing/maintaining the office BIM Standard, including procedures, content libraries, templates, etc.
• Excellent knowledge in Revit software
• Excellent communication skills; verbal, written and listening

Requirements

• 10 plus years BIM experience with preferably main contractors, sub-contractors or MEP Contractors.
• Degree/Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• Gulf experience is essential
• Based in the UAE
