Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

JOB PURPOSE
- To provide the highest level of personalized service to Retail Client Customers.
- To acquire additional business in the form of relationship as well as liabilities and assets, from the target market of Retail Clients business.
- To achieve business, revenue and target for the Retail Clients business and to implement local and global standards for the segment.

Key Roles and Responsibilities
- To achieve the agreed sales target as given by the Branch Sales Manager/Team Manager/Branch Manager.
- To solicit fresh customers as per agreed Bank's sales policy, strategy, and targets.
- To ensure Account Opening procedures are strictly adhered to as per policies and guidelines.
- To develop a potential customer database for new business development.
- To promote the highest level of customer service and responsiveness to Retail Clients Customers.
- To cross-sell other bank products to increase total portfolio for the Bank.
- To visit existing Retail Clients Customer for relationship deepening.
- Intelligently access the needs and problems of the existing customers and guide them in the best solution of their queries and concerns.
- To monitor customers fund movement and identity where customers falls below criteria level.
- To maintain a highly decent professional environment in the Branch.
- To keep customers informed of new products/services and promotional activities
- To follow the sales management process on a regular basis and submit required reports to the Branch Manager on a timely basis.
- To maintain a close coordination with the Operations staffs to provide prompt and excellent service to the banks customers.
- To ensure the highest standards of know-your-customer requirements supported by documentation.
- To ensure credit portfolio is managed in an efficient manner with zero expired facilities.
- To ensure that the branch premises maintains highest standards of hygiene, cleanliness and comfort.
- To be conversant with AML / CDD guidelines, Compliance policies and business processes relating to frontline areas outlined in the Process Guide ( PDU Link)
- To ensure compliance with Minimum Control Standards on Customer Data Confidentiality-

JUDGEMENT/COMPLEXITY
- Identifying & securing new revenue generating ideas for the Bank;
- Daily assessment of credit and other risks involved;
- Assessment of the quality, potential and profitability of new relationships as well as the existing portfolio;
- Marketing the Bank's products and services to customers (new and existing);
- Prioritize customer needs for products, services, and problem resolution.
- To be able to detect any suspicious transactions, Money laundering, forgeries etc.

Requirements

- University Degree.
- Good inter-personal/communication skills.
- Strong selling skills.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Pleasant personality, Clear Voice / Tone Quality
- Knowledge of Banking standards, products and services.
- Understanding of banking operations, money markets, regulations, and risk management.
- Have a good knowledge of the Groups Policy, Standards, local regulations and legislation of the prevention of money laundering.
