Brand Manager

Job description / Role

This opportunity is with a large Retail company based in the UAE

We’re looking for an experienced Brand Manager that will be responsible for developing brand strategies, promoting brand growth and expansion. You will be responsible for bringing brands from international markets and coordinating with retailers in the global market. You will also be responsible for managing the brand’s promotion materials, special campaigns, and pricing to assist to meet the brand business objectives in the short and long term.

Responsibilities
• Analyze brand positioning and consumer insights
• Shape and communicate our vision and mission
• Translate brand elements into plans and go-to-market strategies
• Manage a team of marketing people working on brand initiatives
• Lead creative development to motivate the target audience to “take action”
• Establish performance specifications, cost and price parameters, market applications and sales estimates
• Measure and report performance of all marketing campaigns, and assess ROI and KPIs
• Monitor market trends, research consumer markets and competitors’ activities
• Oversee new and ongoing marketing and advertising activities
• Monitor product distribution and consumer reactions
• Devise innovative growth strategies
• Align the company around the brand’s direction, choices and tactics

Requirements

Requirments
• 5+ years as Brand manager or a similar field
• BSc/BA in Marketing, sales or relevant field;
• Arabic/French speaker is an advantage
• Knowledge of retail management best practices
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
• Excellent organizing and leadership skills
• Commercial awareness
• Analytical mind and familiarity with data analysis principles
• Excellent knowledge of retail management software
