Job description / Role
An exciting opportunity has come about for an award winning Startup Company that is set for global success. With the head office in Dubai a role for a budget controller has come about for someone who can drive,lead processes changes with strong analytics
Key responsibilities include:
• Responsible for budget tracking, prepares monthly actual reports based on ERP data
• Lead budget control process & meetings with budget owners to avoid any overspending, identify risks and opportunities
• Responsible for budgets forecast creation for related spending bucket in the ERP
• Validate cross charge requests and execution
• Within month update on spend vs. BDG, and escalating issues for resolution & investigation
• Month end proofing and validation of respective budgets
• Lead year end accrual preparation and trainings
• Leads implementation of regional simplification projects
• Be the center of expertise for process, procedure & technical know-how for area of ownership
• Work closely with regional financial analysts
Requirements
• Accounting / Finance degree
• 4+ years of related experience
• Strong analytical skills, ability to work independently and part of a team
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting
• Excellent written and verbal communication and analytical skills
• Excellent initiative and follow through; strong sense of urgency and responsibility
• Results oriented, strong organizational and time management skills with ability to multi-task
• Knowledge of Oracle Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service (PBCS) or Oracle Hyperion planning tools is a plus.
