Job description / Role
• POSITION: Business Analyst
• SALARY: all-inclusive depending on experience and qualifications

JOB DESCRIPTION
• Budgeting and Business Plan:
• Work under the supervision of the Team Lead in preparation of Business Plan and Annual Budget
• Liaise with Budget Responsible Officers (BROs) for the preparation of department-wise Budget templates and consolidate inputs
FINANCIAL ANALYSIS AND COST CONTROL:
• Prepare Authorization for Expenditure (AFE) for Capex/Non-Routine Opex Expenditure projects
• Review Purchase Requisitions (PRs) to ensure all PRs are within the approved budget for Routine Expenditure and/or approved AFEs
MONTHLY CLOSING AND REPORTING:
• Support the Finance Team in preparation of month-end accruals
• Financial Audit and Other Ad-hoc
• Prepare audit schedules and co-ordinate with auditors of cost verification, analysis and testing
Requirements
CANDIDATE PROFILE:
• Open to any nationality
• Male/Female, 45 years old and below
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
• Must be a qualified professional accountant – ACCA
• Minimum of 9-12 years of experience in financial planning, budgeting and reporting, preferably from the Oil & Gas industry
• Experience in using Maximo and Sun System is preferred
• Proficient with using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word
• Strong IFRS knowledge
• With demonstrated financial analysis and modeling skills
• Proven ability to work against tough deadlines in a challenging environment
• Strong written and verbal communication with extensive analytical mindset and excellent business acumen
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels with both financial and non-financial personnel
