Job description / Role
Charterhouse are undertaking a search for an internationally recognised regional company, which is the largest global exporter of ammonia fertilizer. Head Quartered in Abu Dhabi, our client has four MENA production facilities located in UAE, Algeria and Egypt. The Business Coordinator will be part of a newly established team which will develop and implement the overall S&OP of Ammonia product.
This role will take ownership of developing and calculating the required plans to support the final Ammonia Fertilizer budget, whilst monitoring the organisations global plans, checking for bottlenecks such as stops, inventory, capacity usage and vessel planning, to ensure the optimal flow of goods. In conjunction, the business coordinator will administrate the control stock positions and vessel planning, keeping a close line of communication with the finance and logistics team, guaranteeing the highest levels of data accuracy. This mid-level role, will communicate directly with customers, suppliers and logistics service providers, optimizing the effectiveness of logistics processes by developing and implementing improvements, making sure all required contracts are completed, in order to execute business transactions.
Requirements
Our client will look to hire a mid-level Supply Chain, Logistics or S&OP professional, whom is able to demonstrate a sustained track record (5 years minimum), within an international organisation, specialising in a relative manufacturing / supply chain sector. The successful candidate will also be able to demonstrate essential quantitative knowledge of the manufacturing and logistics processes, supported by a strong educational background from a leading university.
The Business Coordinator, will possess high level presentation and project management skills, paired with SAP SD / SAP BW software experience.
Production and Manufacturing knowledge of Urea and Merchant Ammonia would be highly advantageous.
