Business Developer – IPP Business
Dubai, UAE
20,000 to 30,000 AED per month plus bonus
The Business
• A leading international IPP Developer.
• They are part of a larger group that generate $bn revenues globally across their diversified portfolio. This business units focus is renewable projects above 50MW and gas power projects.
• Their UAE office is focusing on projects in the Middle East and Africa.
The Opportunity
• To support their expansion strategy, they are looking to hire a Business Developer.
• The Business Developer will be responsible for developing and identifying projects of 50MW+ across the Middle East and Africa.
• They will lead the techno-commercial negotiations, leading the tender and bidding stages, PPA negotiations, permitting and financial close.
• The ultimate objective is to develop a strong portfolio of assets across the Middle East and Africa for the business.
Requirements
Candidate Criteria
• Recognized Engineering or Commercial Bachelors’ Degree.
• Flexible for regular travel across Africa and the Middle East.
• 5+ years’ experience in a similar position.
• Proven experience in the IPP sector as a Business Developer.
• Strong experience in structuring techno-commercial deals in the energy sector.
Salary & Benefits
• 20,000 to 30,000 AED per month plus an annual bonus.
