Job description / Role
Charterhouse is working in partnership with of one most exciting clients within the commercial aviation sector who is looking to hire a Business Development Analyst. This opportunity will support the senior management within the regional business development function to provide strong analysis of both quantitative and qualitative data across the business and the external markets to allow for revenue optimisation.
Within the regional Business Development division, you shall undertake a broad range of support and analytical functions to provide a thorough insight to the internal performace measurements along with an assessment of any external market influencers. This is designed to identify and address any impacts or trends which can influence any new business plans, linking to the airlines operational platform or business development objectives. The reach of the role will span all areas of fleet networking, pricing and revenue targets, network planning and inventory management to allow for adequate planning and budgeting aligned to group targets and the required marketing opportunity to grow and develop revenue channels and new target market segments. On top of this, the role shall also cover areas of threat analysis; linked to potential revenue restraints across the broader market whilst undertaking the assessment of emerging and frontier markets and feasibility for entry in conjunction with the interpretation and assessment of any barriers to entry.
Requirements
The successful candidates should be a young, pragmatic professional who is capable of demonstrating a knowledge and track record within the commercial aviation sector coupled with an ability to support, manage and influence senior business management and stakeholders. You should possess strong academics; whereby business and aviation based degrees can be presented to highlight the fundamental educational attainment. In addition, you should also be able to deliver very strong, concise and timely reporting capabilities to ensure that MIS is delivered to the highest degree of accuracy for commercial and decision support purposes.
