Employment: Full Time

Survival Systems International, the worlds most innovative lifeboat manufacturers, has been helping maritime and offshore operators to keep people safe at sea for more than 40 years. We provide our customers with the equipment, servicing and maintenance that enable them to carry out lifeboat training and emergency evacuations in the safest way possible.

Survival Systems International Middle East is currently expanding its operations within the GCC Region and to support this they require a Business Development Executive.

The “Business Development Executive” shall promote the services and products of Survival Systems International to secure orders from existing and prospective customers through a relationship-based approach.

Responsibilities:

• To assist The Regional Manager in the planned growth and expansion of the Middle East Regional Office by way of establishing key contacts within identified Industries and Companies
• Focuses sales efforts by studying existing and potential new customers
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing Company publications; establishing business networks.
• Provides historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales.
• Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques
• Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses

Requirements

Candidates will have a formal and international reconginised qualification in a relevant commercial or technical discipline and will have a background in either;

* Commercial Maritime Industry
* Oil and Gas Sector
* Service Company

Candidate must have previous experience of 5 years within one of the above related fields

The Candidate must have the folowing professional and personal skills;

* Excellent knowledge of Microsoft systems including Word, Power-Point and Excel
* Excellent command of written and verbal English
*The ability to communicate with staff at all levels
* Self Motivated and able to acheive set targets and goals
* Willing and able to travel world-wide at potentially short notice
