Business Development Manager

Job description / Role

A law firm based in Abu Dhabi is looking for Senior Business Development Manager with the mandate to ensure that the business development needs of the Abu Dhabi office are fully met and delivered with the highest level of efficiency, impact and support increasing the business volume

Reporting to the Head of Business Services and Marketing, you will be responsible for the following areas of the business:

-Assist the Managing Partner on strategic practice management issues including, but not limited to, collaborating to develop and execute the firm’s strategic plan.
-In conjunction with the Managing Partner, Head of Business Services and other partners and practice heads, develop and implement an Abu Dhabi client and business development strategy.
-Working with partners, practice heads and Head of Business Services to identify and evaluate new market and business development opportunities.
-Identify and facilitate client and market knowledge and intelligence gathering, sharing and learning opportunities.
-Provide business development related coaching and training to lawyers of all levels.

Requirements

-Bachelors degree or relevant qualification in marketing, business studies/economics, law or social sciences
-Minimum eight years broad marketing or business development experience in a sophisticated services environment.
- Ideally the candidate has tactical and strategic experience.
-Excellent project management and facilitation skills.
-Excellent writing skills and financially numerate.
-Understanding of competitive market intelligence gathering, analysis and use.
