The Group of Companies is looking to develop its valve maintenance, management and consultancy business in Abu Dhabi. Building on the company’s existing approvals and licences in Abu Dhabi, the successful candidate will have the exciting opportunity of growing our global business in Abu Dhabi and assisting with the direction and strategy of the business as we expand. We are therefore looking for an enthusiastic, motivated individual to be the figurehead of our approach to the oil and gas markets in country.

JOB DESCRIPTION – BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER / CUSTOMER INTERFACE

Position Description
The Business Development Manager will develop existing relationships that the company has forged both in country and with the clients overseas operations. The role will be to interact with Key Clients to sell valve solutions through Engineering, Diagnostics and Maintenance. The candidate should be well versed in Abu Dhabi oil and gas market, have good valve knowledge and preferably have been involved in Instrumentation. Successful people in the Group are motivated and driven with an enthusiasm to face challenges.

Main Roles & Responsibilities
• Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with company policies, procedures, standards and work instructions.
• Identify key projects / new RFQ’s / top up requirements.
• Coordinate with the Sales team in Dubai to guide and assist them to quote/bid for prospective opportunities in Abu Dhabi. The candidate would be the main link between Abu Dhabi and the company management based in Dubai.
• Building relationship with key personnel within customer’s site, collecting market info and developing new clients in the region.
• Understanding customers’ technical needs and providing solutions accordingly.
• To obtain new orders including proper review of customer specifications and commercial requirements.
• Presenting Score capabilities and providing presentation when required, including Valve Diagnostics.
• Active involvement on vendor registration and pre-qualification for EPC contractors and End users.
• Identifying valve repair, testing and maintenance opportunities through customer relationship.
• Interact with our internal sales team regarding Project RFQ’s, active quote status, Technical clarifications, Bid extension, Post order support and market info.
• Assisting finance department in expediting payments.
• Providing weekly sales report and customer visit reports to Management based in the regional headquarters in Dubai.
• Any other reasonable duties as required to meet the needs of the business.

Requirements

• Engineering Degree
• Valve specific experience preferable Instrumentation
• Valid UAE Driving licence

NOTE:
The subject position would be permanently based in Abu Dhabi with frequent travel expected to the Dubai office.
