Job description / Role
Our client, a large publishing house, is currently looking for a well experienced Business Development Manager.
In this role:
• You will be expected to prospect for new clients by networking, cold calling and generating interest from potential clients.
• You must then plan persuasive approaches and pitches that will convince potential clients to do business with the company. You must develop a rapport with new clients and provide support that will continually improve the client relationship.
• You are required to grow and retain existing accounts by presenting new solutions and services to clients.
• You will be working with mid- and senior-level management, marketing, and technical staff.
Strategic planning is a key part of this job description, since it is the Business Development Manager’s responsibility to develop the pipeline of new business coming in to the company. This requires a thorough knowledge of the market and the solutions/services that the company can provide.
Requirements
To be considered for this job, you need to meet the following criteria:
• At least 2 to 5 UAE Media Advertising Sales Job Experience
• Experience in selling advertising within UAE (print/digital/event)
• Accurate knowledge of competitive media
• Excellent command of the English language (spoken and written)
• Meticulous and attention to detail
• Meet & exceed agreed sales targets
• Ability to develop sales concepts & advertising led features
• Good numerical skills
• Good presentation skills
• Time management, ability to meet targets/deadlines
• Proactive, passionate and determined
• Microsoft Office Skills
• CRM-Salesforce Skills
• Fast learner
