Business Development Manager - Rail

Job description / Role

We are looking for a qualified Civil Engineer with extensive Business Development Management experience to work for a reputable construction consultancy firm in UAE. This role is responsible for managing Business Development while working on large rail projects and liaising with Government entities; therefore fluent Arabic is essential.

Key responsibilities:
- Prospects for target clients for an increased business growth
- Analyse and plan innovative strategies or BD
- Maintain existing and develop new relationships with clients
- Determine sales targets and ensures they are successfully achieved
- Identify new opportunities for the growth of the business
- Discuss and consult with other managers on latest business trends with a view to introduce innovative products or services in future
- Understand the company's reputation and ensures to retain that image by continually enhancing the organisation’s performance

Requirements

- Bachelor's of Science in Civil Engineering is essential
- Additional education such as MBA is an advantage
- Must fluent in Arabic and English Language
- Minimum 10 years’ experience as business development manager with technical background
- Experience working in large infrastructure and rail projects is essential
- Experience working with government entities is required
- Must a have an experience working with huge engineering projects, Middle East experience preferred
