Job description / Role
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced finance professional with a fast growing global organization within the energy industry. As a Business/Financial Analyst you will have accounting responsibilities along with performing various financial analyses and managing activities to prepare budgets and forecasts.
Business/Financial Analyst responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Conduct month-end closing entries and transaction bookings; and ensure that finances are maintained in an effective, up to date and accurate manner
* Responsible for general ledger account analysis and reconciliations so that the financials are reported accurately to management and external stakeholders
* Process and review vendor/supplier invoices and resolve matters related to Accounts Payable
* Process and/or coordinate the payments of vendor/supplier invoices in compliance with the Corporate Policy
* Perform various financial analyses such as reconciliations and variance analysis
* Manage activities to prepare budgets, forecasts and track actual spend metrics such as revenue, expenses (direct cost), etc.
* Research, conduct, prepare, and support with tax compliance and filings
* Develop and maintain contact with customers, local banks, suppliers and other
* Provide reports/data, as needed or required
* Work with local legal and accounting/auditing firms

Requirements
* B.A./B.S; Finance or Accounting
* CPA or CA
* Minimum of 5 years' experience in a financial analysis role and project accounting
* Advance level skills with Microsoft Excel & Power Point Skills
* Experience with SAP (FI/CO/MM)
* Experience producing and delivering appropriate communications to senior management
* Experience summarizing results and producing management reports
* Outstanding attention to detail and adherence to project deadlines
* Ability to work effectively, both independently and as a member of a team
* Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
* Ability to "think outside the box" while identifying problems and developing creative solutions
