CAFM Team Leader - Success Profile

Reporting to: CAFM Engineer

Division / Function: IFS

Base location: Abu Dhabi

Key purpose

To support and assist Computer Aided Facilities Management (CAFM) Engineer in delivering the CAFM service to multiple clients served from Serco's central CAFM set up

Based on the specific requirement of the role

Key accountabilities

Customer

- Managing all kinds of customer requests to facilitate CAFM functionalities for multiple projects.
- Work closely with CAFM engineer to architect solutions for new projects and bids
- Interface with IT team of CAFM software company and keep the CAFM system up to speed with latest technologies and upgrades
- Maintaining Asset and PPM as well as importing new assets and PPM schedules into the system as and when required.
- Creating users and granting proper security rights as and when required.
- Create reports as and when required by site management.
- Scheduling of reports as and when required.

Operational Excellence

- Implementation of CAFM system as directed.
- Involved in day-to-day operation of the CAFM system by data entry, upload, download, reporting and data correction.
- To monitor and escalate the data accuracy.
- KPI reporting and escalation monitoring.
- Basic troubleshooting to provide Level 1 support.
- To coordinate with client's IT for Level 2 support.
- Day to day management of CAFM admin and other CAFM operators
- Data entering into the CAFM system as and when required.
- Implementing the procedures as advised.
- Business continuity and Disaster recovery support.
- Carry out site surveys of asset data quality.

People & Culture

- Health checks and sanity checks on the regular interval to ensure the system has the updated user profiles and access rights or any other data.
- Escalate the challenges on time.
- Willingness to work in Shifts.
- Flexible to assist with Helpdesk Operator and CAFM Operator role as and when required.

Requirements

Essential technical and professional skills, knowledge and qualifications

- At least four (4) year experience as a user of any CAFM application with enhanced technical skills to manage CAFM modification and creation requests.
- Minimum two (2) years experience in Facility Management particularly in healthcare environment is essential.
- Ideally a degree holder of IT related qualification or equivalent.
- Previous experience in any CAFM system and good understanding of CAFM workflow.
- A dynamic, high energy individual who can support several groups/sections within the organization
- Able to prepare basic reports.
- Proven problem solving skills.
- Verbal and written communication skills in English language.

- Ensure compliance with the Serco Management System and all relevant business processes, procedures and work instructions to deliver all work with appropriate quality and governance standards
- Ensure security and integrity of all data provided including reporting performance, finance and customer information; reference Serco non-disclosure policy
