The Job Opportunity

Serco is looking to hire Car Park Specialist for one of its prestigious contract Abu Dhabi Global Market Square (ADGM) development the international financial center on Al Maryah Island, master planned and developed by Mubadala (through its designated subsidiary). Serco is responsible for the delivery of all commercial space Facilities Management services across the 530,000 m² development including; Estates Management (MEP), Cleaning and Waste Management, Landscaping and Grounds Maintenance, Pest Control, Site Security, Parking Services and Property Management Services.

The key purpose of the role is to provide cohesive administration services that promotes the timely delivery of car parking operations, supporting all designated internal/external contacts and communications, and providing executive admin support to the site management team.

The Position reports to the Security Manager and will be the main coordinator between the company and the outsourced companies.

Key accountabilities

- Manage the car parking and valet service providers.
- Tracks and order supplies required for the functioning of the paid car park and valet services.
- Provide a daily, weekly and monthly reports to the Security Manager.
- Coordinate cash collection with the service provider and maintain records and reports for accuracy of all monetary transactions.
- Provide support to the Security Manger to manage the custody of financial information and records but limited to:
- Car Park Services contracts and correspondence
- Maintain vendor files and ensures that all information on contract files is kept up to date (including original contracts and guarantees)
- Contractor communication and control of permits to work

Requirements

What we are looking for in our candidates:

- Thorough understanding of car parking and valet systems and procedures.
- Highly proficient in MS Office - Excel, Word, Outlook.
- Ability to monitor information and escalate to stakeholders when required.

Specific requirements

- 5 years minimum relative experience in car park management/control.
- Proven experience in managing a team.
- Preferably a holder of Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or any equivalent qualification.
