Cargo Supervisor

Job description / Role

Synopsis <br><br>Coordinate a team of agents and liaise with maintenance and guest services to ensure a wide range of airport operations are handled smoothly and effectively.<br><br>Accountabilities <br><br>- Supervise airport resources and equipment utilization to ensure the efficient and timely execution of operations according with working instructions, safety procedures and policies <br> - Coordinate, control and supervise handling and network operations to ensure compliance with regulations and safety standards <br> - Provide to the team clear operating instructions to ensure activities are timely executed in compliance with regulations and procedures <br> - Manage, coordinate and monitor timeliness and accuracy of operations to ensure alignment with KPIs and external / internal regulations <br> - Monitor and coordinate Etihad Airways? and other airlines? turnaround operations to improve the On Time Performance of the HUB station and ensure compliance with regulations <br> - Monitor and overview extraordinary loading operations, to ensure execution is compliant with regulations and carriers procedures <br> - Conduct briefing and de-briefing sessions on assigned activities to identify and provide advice on areas of improvement <br><br>Education & Experience <br><br>- Minimum High School certification, UAE Driving license and relevant licenses specific to vehicles according to UAE regulations are required, ADP License, ADAS Specific Equipment License are preferred, Ramp/Freighter Handling Courses, basic knowledge of Dangerous Goods and of weight and balance principles is preferred. <br> - Minimum of 3 years experience in relevant field <br><br>About Etihad Airport Services <br> <br>Etihad Airport Services Ground is the sole ground operations handler at Abu Dhabi International Airport. <br> EASG handles a wide variety of ground functions at the capital's international airport, from passenger check-in and boarding to baggage handling and aircraft services. <br> All operations are centered around its three main prerogatives: safety and security in all its functions, world class operations for all customer airlines through maximum efficiency and a world class customer experience for all visiting and transiting guests.
