This is a fantastic opportunity for a Western educated law graduate, candidates whom have been exposed to internships, or those with 1-2 years in a junior role within a law setting. You will be at the forefront of the legal structure in the DIFC and the role of the Case Progression Officer provides a real insight into the judicial system. Additionally, the role provides strong career growth and progression prospects for the right candidate. The organisation itself was established in 2004 and provides independent administration of justice and is designed to ensure the highest international standards of legal procedures at all times.
The role involves the successful incumbent to be the first point of contact for all case queries from those wishing to raise a new case and provide all the relevant documentation, to those finalising their case and any judgments from the court. You will ensure that all documents are requested, updated and filed appropriately and all information, including the opening of new cases, are to be entered onto the case management system. There are strict timescales involved with all clients and cases and it is the responsibility for the Case Progression Officer to monitor these deadlines effectively to ensure all KPIs are adhered to and reportings to the Senior Management are completed on a regular basis. The role will also ensure that you coordinate with all parties involved including judges, lawyers and court officials.

Requirements

It is essential that candidates applying for this role have a law degree or LLB from a Western institution and have English as their native language. Law graduates with minimal experience in the law industry will also be considered, as those with a very strong administrative skill set and a customer service approach will be a great addition for this fantastic role. You also will have a professional manner and appearance and be able to work well under pressure in a demanding and exciting environment.
