Catalogue Manager – IKEA Dubai Festival City

At IKEA creating a better everyday life for the many isn't only our vision, it's our way of life!We are currently recruiting for a Catalogue Manager to be based in our Dubai Festival City operation. Within this role you will be responsible for the management and control of IKEA's most important marketing tool, its annual catalogue, by ensuring a competent catalogue strategy for all the territories that fall under IKEA/ Al Futtaim Group. The strategy should aim at complementing the overall marketing strategy at generating maximum number of visitors to the IKEA stores, thus affecting the long-term profit.
With the 2012-2015 expansion plans for IKEA franchisees within the UAE, Qatar, Egypt and Oman, catalogue manager's role is very strategic, ensuring total quality of all steps related to the catalogue work and control of the planning, production and distribution stages.

Requirements

The successful candidate will be able to display the following skills and experience

* Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge:
* University graduate

Minimum Experience:

* Must have a minimum of 5-7 years of management level work in managerial or supervisory role
* Must have Publishing, distribution or project management background
* Must have strategic, analytical and tactical abilities
* Must be a quick problem solver and multi-tasker
* Must have deep knowledge of utilising macro and micro economics in planning
* Must be computer literate (All Microsoft Programs and Adobe Desktop Publishing package)
* Ideally an Arabic speaker
