Position Title: Category Manager
Employment Type: Full-time
Salary: up to 25K AED all-inclusive, depending on experience and qualifications
Job Location: Dubai, UAE
About the client:
An advanced online B2B platform that connects merchants and trade customers digitally
Job Role:
- Source new suppliers to ensure the business strategic positioning in the market place
- Act as an ambassador for the food and non-food category to ensure performance is matching the corporate strategy
- Identify the category strategy and a rolling program of areas to be addressed within the procurement category
- Liaise between cross-functional teams to manage the development and implementation of the procurement category strategy
- Analyze the markets to identify potential clients, suppliers and be up to date with market trends
Requirements
- Male/Female, 45 years old and below
- Bachelor's Degree in any related field
- At least 5 years of experience in marketing and category management within FnB or FMCG sector
- Experience within the Food and Non-food category in the region is a must
- Preferably with Supermarket/Hypermarket experience
