Synopsis

Responsible for creating and implementing change management strategies and activities which maximise employee awareness and adoption of new organisational structures, processes, policies, and ways of working. This role will translate business strategies and programmes into employee-centric change approaches utilising employee personas while adopting an agile yet structured approach to delivering fit-for-purpose change outcomes. This role will set the standard for how change should be delivered within Etihad and will support the business in building change capability to ensure that they are equipped to manage the delivery of future employee changes.

Accountabilities

- Lead change management activities by applying a structured methodology to support employees and key stakeholders in adopting change
- Conduct change impact and readiness assessments by stakeholder groups and personas, evaluating the results to develop implementation approaches and plans, and present findings to leadership
- Provide advice and recommendations to senior leaders about how to approach change for programmes specific to their area
- Design and execute business readiness assessments to identify change risks and define change mitigation strategies to minimise impacts on go-live/programme implementations
- Undertake stakeholder analysis and execute stakeholder engagement strategies
- Define change success metrics, and use them to measure and monitor change progress
- Develop and deliver communication plans for change programmes, identifying and aligning communication needs of stakeholders to project milestones, and developing associated messaging
- Develop communications collateral, e.g., SharePoint sites, FAQ libraries, branding, etc, to support awareness of change programmes
- Provide input into and support the design and delivery of training as related to change programmes
- Coach project teams and business representatives in managing change and building change capability
- Develop change champion networks to support change adoption and implementation
- Provide support to the HR Communications Manager (as required) to drive HR messaging internally in the division and across the organisation

Requirements

Education & Experience

- Degree-level education in change management, communications, or related discipline
- Minimum of 8 years experience delivering large-scale business or culture transformation with a focus on stakeholder management and change enablement, preferably within an HR environment
- Demonstrated experience in fostering a culture of change and using personas to deliver employee-centric outcomes
- Extensive knowledge of change management theory, design, and execution with change management certifications is highly desirable
- Ability to manage multiple change initiatives in parallel and can work effectively at all levels, quickly establishing and then maintaining accountability and trust with stakeholders
- Fluent English speaker with excellent English writing skills. Arabic would be considered an added advantage
- Excellent project management skills, time management skills and attention to detail
