Job description / Role
Kemipex is looking for dynamic and professional chemical engineers with the ability to sell chemical raw materials such as Epoxy Resin, Food coloring, flavors, Paint and Coatings. Must have a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering with preferably 1-year work experience or a freshly graduate.
• Respond to customer queries and requirements through email and phone calls
• Provide new lead contacts and maintain a long-term relationship with existing customers
• Conduct cold calls, send emails and meet potential/existing customers in person
• Act as a source of contact between a company and its existing or potential customers
• Negotiate terms of an agreement in favor of both the company and client needs
• Conduct market research prepare report on market trends, competitor analysis and customer needs
• Meeting regular sales target and achieving higher than expected
• Ability to work under pressure and overtime
• Challenge any objections to convince consumers to purchase and close a sale
• Prepare technical, visually appealing presentations to explain our products to customers
• Advise on forthcoming product developments and discuss special promotions
• Create detailed proposal documents - often as part of a formal bidding process which is largely dictated by the prospective customer
• Conduct regular check-ups on quantity of goods on display and in stock
• Insert precise details and make accurate calculations for sales orders and quotations.
• Report to Direct manager for any issue/development
Requirements
• Desire and ability to sell Chemical products and develop new leads
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (preferably English)
• Hard negotiating skills and resilient to cope with rejection
• Highly optimistic, self- motivated with a can-do attitude
• Ability to work both independently and as a team
• Keen attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines
• IT proficiency in using MS Office such as Excel and PowerPoint
