Chief Accountant

Job description / Role

• Establish financial status by developing and implementing systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying, and reporting information.
• Monthly closing of books of accounts and preparing P&L to track the profitability.
• Verification of petty cash vouchers of office, store and PRO, monthly payroll, gratuity and leave salary calculation of employees as well as cash and check payment vouchers.
• Audit trial balance of companies and rectify accounts if needed on a daily basis.
• Finalizing schedules and passing monthly entries related to fixed assets depreciation, deferred income and prepaid expenses, and other tasks as assigned.

Salary: up to 15K AED all inclusive depending on experience and qualifications
Job Location: Dubai and Umm Al Quwain, UAE

About the Client:

Qualifications:
• Open to Asian nationalities
• Male, 45 years old and below
• At least 7 years’ experience as Chief Accountant from paints manufacturing industry within the UAE
• Must have experience using ERP system
