Job description / Role
Chief Engineer for a Luxury Five Star Hotel in Dubai
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Supervise and direct the activities of the Resident Engineer/Maintenance Managers
- Monitor engineering activities to ensure adherence to establishes policies, operating procedures and standards
- Prepare comprehensive budgets and forecast to ensure the efficient and cost effective operation of the department
- Supervise, develop and maintain an ongoing maintenance operation for hotel, including refrigeration, heating, plumbing, water treatment, preventive maintenance, hotel rooms and etc.
- Submit a comprehensive monthly report to the General Manager
- On an ongoing and regular basis, inspects and evaluates physical condition of entire hotel asset, including all guestrooms, public areas, pool area; completes and retains inspection reports
- Ensure to deliver the highest quality products and service to meet high volumes and individual client requirements
- Ensure optimum use of facilities
- Promote the values, hallmarks and guiding principles of the company
- Partake in occupational health and safety initiatives and forms as a part of the SBU’s occupational health and safety committee
- Ensure adherence to the external communication guidelines and the company ethics.

Requirements
CANDIDATE PROFILE:
- Open to ANY nationality
- Male/Female, 45 years old and below
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or any related course
- Minimum 10 years of total working experience with 5 years in Managerial/Supervisory role
- UAE working experience is must
- Detail-oriented and with strong supervisory and managerial skills
- Has a sound understanding of engineering principles
