Chief Estimator

Job description / Role

The Company/Role:

We are working with a western contracting company based in Dubai. This organization has been active in the UAE for 30 + years.
Projects range from small high-end fit outs, through to full hotel refurbishments projects.

They have and excellent reputation, have been steadily growing as a business and will continue to win work in the region, meaning they are looking to hire the following:

• A highly competent Chief Estimator who will manage and oversee the tendering process from concept to completion.
• Heading a team handling tenders of 500 million AED. The ideal candidate will have experience in heading teams and managing all elements of these high end fit out projects.
• Experience working on both site and within an office environment is highly preferable.

The following is essential:

• Currently based in the UAE
• Clear experience in a similar role for a Sub Contractor/Main Contractor in the UAE
• Fit out experience is essential
• 10-12 years relevant estimation experience - the ideal candidate will have experience both on site and office-based works.
• Excellent communication skills
• IT Literate with clear strength on software, emails, word, excel etc.
• Able to work under pressure and deliver to tight timeframes & tender deadlines

Salary:
AED 30,000 to 40,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
