Chief Operations Officer (COO)

Job description / Role

Our client is a forward thinking Tech entity most renowned for developing and strategically enabling international brands, which are mostly first tier fashion icons, in the growing online market within the MENA region. With the business growing exponentially, they are now hiring a Chief Operations Officer to take up the responsibility to manage and grow this e-Commerce business.

Job Description:
- Report to CEO to manage the business performance and develop strategies to achieve business objectives
- Establish metrics to measure and review business operations
- Monitor sales performance, analyze competitor movement and study market trend to identify business expansion opportunities
- Analyze client requirements on brand management and ensure operations meet with agreed standards
- Oversee the e-Commerce operations, order fulfillment and relevant support functions such as IT and marketing activities
- Generate reports and conduct meetings to provide investors with financing detail on profit & loss management as well as expansion plans

Requirements

- Degree holder in Marketing, e-Commerce, Business Management or relevant discipline
- MBA holder is advantageous
- Minimum 10 years of relevant working experience with at least 5 years in a senior management position
- Prior e-Commerce background in retail, FMCG or fashion industries is necessary
- Proven track record managing an e-Commerce business and relevant operation
- Excellent interpersonal skills and can work closely with stakeholders on key decision making process
- Fluent communication, both written and spoken, in English with Arabic language being an asset
