Position Title: Child Psychologist
Employment Type: Full Time
Salary: all inclusive depending on experience and qualifications plus commission
Job Location: Dubai, UAE
About the Client:
An established counselling center in Dubai supporting children, adolescents, adults, and couples.
Job Description:
• Assess psychological, intellectual, cognitive, and behavioral issues through testing, interview, and evaluation.
• Develop and implement intervention or treatment plans utilizing play therapy and/or other various psychological techniques; select appropriate treatment approach and plans frequency, intensity, and duration of individual, group, and family therapies.
• Educate family members on interventions they can do for their child or how to respond to certain behaviors.
• Monitor child’s progress through regular meetings or sessions.
• Maintain confidentiality and safe storage of accurate program and client records, and all other pertinent documents.
Requirements
Qualifications:
• Open to European and Arabic nationalities
• 45 years old and below
• Master's degree in Psychology
• At least 3 years of experience in the same role
• Experience handling children as young as 3 years old
• Experience or specialization of either: EMDR Certification (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) OR Play therapy
• Must have CDA/DHA License
• Candidates who can join immediately will be prioritized
