Job description / Role
Engagement Manager required for a multi-national banking software implementation company based in Dubai, UAE.
The Engagement & Solutions Manager is responsible for the engagement process for large, complex, customized enterprise customer solutions, and targets current or prospective clients for prospecting and qualifying potential opportunities.
The Engagement & Solutions Manager defines and negotiates solutions, including, the scope, financial arrangements, and is responsible for contract terms and conditions, with profit and loss responsibility for ongoing delivery of the engagement.
Candidate should be Professional with a minimum of 10 year of experience in software technical consultancy, ideally in a banking environment. Technical knowledge: INFOBASIC, JAVA, ORACLE 9 (or above) operating systems, knowledge and familiarity with functionality of UNIX, AS400 and NT, particularly disc structures. Exposure to mainframes.
My client is a Multi-National Software Solutions Company involved in Corporate, Treasury, Islamic, Retail and Investment banking Solutions. The role offers a maximum annual compensation of $120k USD per annum + bonus.
Requirements
- 15+ years of professional experience
- PMP certification is highly desirable
- 10+ PM experience is required
- Experience in managing Core banking projects with a deal value in excess of $3 million USD.
- Ability to negotiate contract commercials and SLAs.
- Regional experience is a MUST
- Currently based in the region is a MUST
- Experience in selling products and services in the core banking arena is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and persuasion skills
- Proven experience in managing senior stakeholders, vendors, partners etc.
- Experience in RFP submission
- Presales experience (2+ years) desirable.
- Candidate should be fluent in Arabic and English
