Client Relationship Manager

Job description / Role

As a client relationship manager, you’ll determine clients’ insurance needs, make coverage recommendations and complete risk assessments. You will support the agency on operational results focusing on business development and profitable growth. You’ll be part of a team that truly empowers you to provide great client service, and recognizes the importance of professional and career development.

Responsibilities:
- Maintain and expand relationships with existing clients.
- Manage client concerns, such as those concerning rates or service.
- Answer phones in high call volume environment.
- Negotiate pricing.
- Maintain and exceed daily/weekly client activity goals.
- Pro-actively call clients to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Ensure client loyalty and continued business.
- Execute marketing / advertising initiatives to support acquisition of new business
- Serve as the liaison to a complex customer base to manage first level response and resolution of escalated issues with
external and internal customers
- Identifies and resolves operational problems using defined processes, expertise and judgement
- Investigate claim and/or customer service issues as identified and communicate resolution to customers
- Provide feedback to team members regarding improvement opportunities
- Provides expertise and customer service support to members, customers, and/or providers

Requirements

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experienced in portfolio management.
- Conscientious, thorough and attentive to detail.
- Empathetic, able to recognize and understand other’s points of view or concerns.
- Ability to work under pressure in a climate that demands high activity levels.
- Computer literate in all software necessary to fulfil responsibilities.
