Cluster Director of Sales

Job description / Role

Charterhouse is working with an established global hotel group in Dubai who is looking to hire a Cluster Director of Sales to join its team and oversee multiple 4 star hotel properties, a mixture of hotel and hotel apartments.

Your main responsibilities will be to increase the revenue and manage the sales team of 10. You will also be responsible for developing cross selling opportunities between the different properties, selling the properties both individually as well as together, with a heavy focus on corporate and long stay sales. The role with be supported by a team of sales managers and executives in addition to a separate marketing function.

Requirements

The successful candidate should have at least 5 years’ plus experience in four star hotels in Dubai, preferably business hotels. This role needs a true commercially driven Director of Sales, someone with extensive knowledge of the Dubai market. A proactive go-getter ready to manage a diverse portfolio and team. Due to the scope of this role Arabic speaking ability is an advantage but not essential.
