Coating Services/Supervisor
- Proven experience working as Coating Supervisor/Specialist, preferably in the UAE or Middle East region
- In-depth knowledge of engineering and construction principles, practices, and materials
- Proficiency in common software and other relevant tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent project management and communication abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Candidate shall have the necessary engineering competences and site experience in order to perform the following activities:
- Have engineering experience in the design of painting, pipe coating and custom coating systems for line pipes and other pipelines components.
- Able to analyze the project documentation and to identify critical issues and cost saving strategies.
- Understand client specifications and he shall be able to prepare engineering documents based on client specifications and other project design requirements.
- Capable to prepare engineering documents such as technical clarifications, specifications, materials requisitions, technical bid evaluations relevant to painting, pipe coating and custom coating systems for line pipes and other pipelines components.
- Capable to review and comment vendors’ documents related to painting, pipe coating and custom coating systems for line pipes and other pipelines components.
- Support the technical and commercial department during the review of the technical documentation related to vendors’ scope of work and identify criticalities and potential savings.
- Capable to provide technical assistance during pre- qualification tests, pre-production tests and during production for all activities carried out at vendors’ premises related to painting, pipe coating and custom coating systems for line pipes and other pipelines components.
- Ensure that all activities performed at vendors’ premises are carried out following latest technical materials developments and in line with best industrial practices.
- Have proven field experience managing subcontractors in charge of carrying out pipe coating works and custom coating for line pipes and other pipelines components.

Requirements

- Minimum 10 years of experience in coating engineering is required.
- Master’s degree in mechanical or materials engineering is preferred.
