Mission for Collector
The mission of Collector is to collect cash for clients within stipulated timelines.

Outcomes

Specific, measurable, and objective outcomes to be an “A Player” in this role
• Providing customer service regarding collection issues, process and review account adjustments, resolve client discrepancies and short payments. Responsible for monitoring and maintaining assigned accounts- Customer calls, account adjustments, small balance write off, customer reconciliations and processing credit memos.
• Perform other assigned tasks and duties necessary to support the Accounts Receivable Department.
• Enlist the efforts of sales and senior management when necessary to accelerate the collection process.
• Must communicate & follow up effectively with sales dept regarding customer accounts on a timely basis
• Monitor the assigned portfolio; identify delinquent accounts and promptly call the customers to prevent the account to become past due.
• Execute the Collection & associated tasks according to the agreed time frames & SLA’s to avoid litigations.
• Produce regular weekly/monthly reports to show performance/trends etc. to bring in continuous process improvement.
• Immediately engage the management team when identifying any significant account deterioration and any critical disputes which might be a potential bad debt account.
• Take ownership of customer accounts which are in dispute, in order to establish the correct level of outstanding debt.
• Provide comprehensive range of dispute resolution services to corporate, government and commercial clients, both national and international to keep the Daily Sales Outstanding in control.

Requirements

• Education: Minimum 1-3 years professional experience in collections
• Technically Competent: Possesses and maintains the functional and technical knowledge and skills to successfully perform the job.
• Collaborative: Works effectively with others to accomplish goals.
• Problem Solver: Uses data and logic to quickly find solutions to difficult challenges.
