Commercial Manager

Job description / Role

The position will include cost planning and commercial management during the entire life cycle of the project from inception to completion. You must be proficient in pricing, take off's, tenders and procurement / buying. It is essential you can demonstrate a proactive approach toward forecasting and possess strong risk management, budgeting and dispute resolution skills.

Requirements

Candidates applying for this role must have senior level experience as a Quantity Surveyor and ideally held position as a Commercial/Contracts Manager. Experience working in Airport Projects is highly desired. It is imperative that you have an accomplished understanding of contract management, health and safety legislation and possess the relevant I.T. skills. Candidates that enjoy a high level of client facing project management are encouraged to reply.

Must have experience in Tendering and Pre and
Post Contract Management .Must have experience in a Client facing role.

As the role is for a consultancy, we are seeking candidates who have experience with a Private Quantity Surveying Practice/ Consultancy. For this role candidates must have circa 10 years PQE (Post Qualification Experience)

- 10-15 Years Experience
- MRICS is preferable for this role. (Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors).
- BSc/MSc in Quantity Surveying is essential. BSc degree qualification is essential for this role ( HNC and HND are not acceptable)
- Previous middle east experience is required
