Employment: Full Time

Robert Half is working exclusively with a global leader in the technology sector which services the Utility market based in Dubai. Due to an internal promotion my client is looking to recruit a Commercial Manager.

Reporting directly into the Senior Global Product Manager you will be responsible for market management activities including commercialization, brand development, marketing communication plans, product penetration strategies across the MENA/SEA/SSA regions. You will also oversee the implementation process and provide quality control for communication materials, media activities and special events. Lead trade public relations and advertising efforts.

Key Responsibilities;
- Develop a coherent perspective to evaluate market needs and trends and design appropriate promotional and distribution programs in MENA /SEA / SSA regions
- Gather market specific inputs and recommend actions concerning quality, delivery, service, and distribution needs for dispensing systems, in collaboration with direct and channel sales team of the region
- Develop and maintain competitive landscape and provide inputs for risk mitigations, value propositions and product road map reviews.
- Work with regional sales team for funnel and opportunity reviews for dispensing products, identify product related bottlenecks to progress and implement appropriate counter measures.
- Work with regional sales teams to develop marketing communications strategies and action plans to meet revenue and margin goals.
- Manage and give input to all aspects of sales and marketing collateral, including case studies, press releases, brochures, newsletters and email marketing.
- Develop relationships with trade associations and trade associations and trade press in order to deliver effective media relations programs.
- Develop and execute digital marketing programs like Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and PPC strategy in collaboration with digital marketing team, to maximize market share of voice and drive revenue. Analyze SEO date and trends to draw implications and recommendations.
- Own social media presence, including content strategy, feedback into the organisation and metrics.
- Identify opportunities, set strategy for and organise involvement in MENA /SEA /SSA industry events, trade shows and retailer conferences.
- Develop and track ROI metrics for advertising and promotion programs to ensure proper allocation of budget resources.

Requirements

- 5+ years progressive marketing experience in a business-to-business environment, or the equivalent.
- Experience in building brand and marketing strategies
- Knowledge of media landscape (trade advertising, public relations, internet, entertainment, and event marketing)
- Experience in creating integrated marketing communication plans, advertising messages, and promotional materials.
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills
- MBA preferred, BA acceptable
- Ability to travel – estimate 30%
