Job Description
Job Title: Project Commercial Manager
Department: Commercial

Reports to (Position) Commercial and Design Manager
Supervises (Position) Quantity Surveyor Assistant, Senior Quantity Surveyor, Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Key Responsibilities:
- Review quantities calculated for procurement.
- Approve bid comparisons prepared by quantity surveyors.
- Review and approve order letters, LOI/ LOA, subcontract agreement.
- Approve payment submissions made to engineers.
- Approve quantity verification statements made to subcontractors.
- Review variation orders logs made in Excel, client payments, subcontractor payment summary, subcontractor OL/ LOI/ LOA/ SA.
- Draft all commercial letters and EOT notices.
- Review variation order notices and claims.
- Approve differences listed between contracts and IFC drawings.
- Approve RFI/ CVI/ Shop drawings, other specifications, value engineering initiatives, VO calculations and submissions.
- Attend meetings with subcontractors and clients and liaise with Project Manager and site staff when required.
- Prepare EOT claims and full submissions.
- Ad-hoc duties as and when required by the Management.

Budget Orientation
- Plan and operate all tasks and duties within the framework of the Company’s/ Department’s annual budget target.
- Process Improvement & Management Systems
- Use internal and external client feedback for eliminating potential sources of problems regarding quality and environmental and Health and Safety issues with products and services.
- Plan and execute activities for continuous improvement of product and service quality for higher customer satisfaction.

- Build and develop teams with complementary skills to ensure the right people are in the right place to achieve Company and Department goals.

Requirements

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

- Specialty/Field/Technical Background: FIDIC (Contract Administration)
- Education Level and Certificates: BSc Civil Engineering
- Computer and Software: MS Office, Plant Swift, POMI/ SMM7
- Languages: English Arabic, Hindi
- Total Experience: 10 Years / 15
