Commercial Manager

This opportunity is with a large pharmaceutical vaccine company in the UAE

We are looking for an experienced Commercial Manager that will be responsible for overseeing business growth efforts of the company. The duties include conducting market research to identify new business opportunities, coordinating with company leadership to conduct risk assessments, and maintaining beneficial relationships with clients, suppliers, and other business partners.

Responsibilities
• Developing the commercial strategy and the commercial direction of projects
• Negotiating with customers, suppliers and manufacturers
• Building and managing relationships with customers
• Conducting market research
• Monitoring the progress of projects
• Overseeing the performance of the commercial team
• Providing direction for brand vision
• Pursuing new business opportunities
• Monitoring budgeting expenses
• Identifying and managing commercial risks

Requirements

Qualifications
• Previous commercial or sales manager/director role for pharmaceuticals – vaccines in the MENA/MEA region.
• At least 10 years of experience in the vaccine sector.
• Master’s degree in marketing/MBA preferred or 15 years experience with a bachelor’s degree.
• Technical knowledge/experience in vaccine distribution.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Must be a strategic thinker and a have strong negotiation skills
• Possess a collaborative mindset and work well as part of a team
• Superior time management abilities and capable of meeting deadlines
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask
• Up to date on industry trends, as well as laws and regulations
• Ability to build strong relationships with clients and industry contacts
